Aaaah a new head... Have you not looked into shaving out the chambers in your current head??
Cross pin diff is definately a wise investment, but i can't say i've heard of any problems involving drop gears at high power outputs...
Either way, all sounds good
Keep us updated about how megajolt goes for you, i'm quite looking forward to playing with mine.

Just been recomended by a few people, and there not a bad price either.
Hopefully done by MITP.

Im getting my head chambers enlarged to 28cc by turbo-phil eventualy.
Drop gears and diff are the weaker points in the transmission. And I want the whine.

and id say dropgears are essential due to the sideloading the helical gears can have at high power/torque. theres other companies bar minisport tho. i used to buy evrthing from them but after a few bad things i stopped buying.
I've had good and bad experiences with them. So will ring and make sure there in stock before ordering.
Oh and the megajolt will be running in N/A form before the turbo conversion is done, didn't know if I put that in there.

are you adding extras to yours such as shift light and rev limiter etc?

you didnt, but i will beinterested to hear the differences it makes like for like.

You can build in a rev limiter into the map, by retarding the ignition dramaticly at a certain RPM.
A hard limiter though would be more fun, maybe in the future. Funds are low at the moment.
I will use the user defind RPM outputs for a shift light. Can't remember off the top of my head how many there are, i think it's 4, but will have a shift light, and then a warning light when the "rev limiter" is reached.

Kind of like that.
