Yeah, kinda fixed now. Apart from not being able to get any grease in the new hub.

I want more speed now though. I've been fettling with it recently and got the engine going nicely again, it seemed to be a bit rough since the MOT.

It revs cleanly up to around 7200 but then does start to stutter. I think the points might be bouncing.

So will save up and get megajolt for it. I realy want my turbo on now, but want to do it properly, so need to find around £1k from somewhere.

I've got a few bits lieing around to fit, and some white vinyl to try and cover up some of the tainted bodywork.

Got bored, will cut some more squares and give the awful bonnet the same treatment.

Yeah I am worried it will look tacky. I like clean lines, but also like chequers

I hate seeing those fiestas and KAs with chequer roofs. Just doesn't look right. >_<

I still need to take off that number plate light and fog light. I think I'll take the over-riders off aswell, don't realy suit the cars style.

Nice job with the chequers, they look sweet. Whats up with the dent in the boot though? Not noticed that before. Got a shot of the bonnet?

It happened sometime early january, I have no idea how though, went out to my car and it was dented. I was fuming. Not sure how to get rid of it, might buy a fibreglass panel and replace it. Can't afford to get it resprayed after filling it.

I havn't done the bonnet yet, I need to replace that aswell.

Looks like it would pull out though, you could try one of those mobile dent companies? Whats wrong with the bonnet? Atleast you can go speedy gonzalez, mine would be well rough up at 7200rpm lol. Especially with my exhaust blowing in the middle

A few pages back it explains the bonnet.

Although it's got alot worse now, I used the wrong primer which meant it came out another colour, and it was a cheap 2nd hand ebay one, which was full of filler and stuff, so it's flexed and cracked the paint, theres wrinkles and loads of blemishes in it. Looks like it's got an STI.

Will have to get another one, and spend more time prepping it.

We can sort the boot lid out and get the bonnet look 100 times better than it is now, let me know when you can come over.

I know someone who is looking for over riders :)

Yeah overriders are yours, no point trying to save the bonnet, it's ruined.

I can probably come around tomorrow.

You can have a look over it tomorrow, it will need some strengthening on the back. A new number plate, and I don't have my paint with me.

When trying to leave mymini007's place last friday my coil decided to go in half.

Today, i've recieved new points, condensor and a new coil.

Will fit them when I get a break in my uni exams.

Although will be going megajolt as soon as funds allow.

Worked out I need around £800 odd before the car will see boost. That doesn't include insurance increase either. Seems quite a lot seeing as I have 90% of the parts for the car to be boosting right now.

Christ, what else have you got left to buy? :)

I'm just about finished gathering parts for megajolt, for my project 1275, and i've spent under three hundred quid...
