Had a look underneath and videoed it with my new phone that arrived today, and noticed that the rubber mounts have got soooooo much give in them.
SO have orderd some solid ones. The engine seems to move but take the subframe with it, so might stop the exhaust pulling itself off all the time.
You can see the little bit of flex more at the end.

Oh and the supposidly 8.1mp and HD video erricson vivaz is rubbish!!!!

Had a little stab and realised there not attatched to the shell, just backing plates, probably there to stop the bolts pulling through. Here you can see my scrapper slid straight behind it.
So decided to just weld in the plates there were there to add some rigitdity.
My welding here is awful, realy realy unhappy with it.
No better on the passenger side either.
ANy advice would be greater appreciated, im using a clarke gas mig welder.
Then did a similar test to earlier but couldn't realy tell so will need to take it out again and see if the flex has gone.
I did notice my ultimate engine steady wasn't so ultimate and was flexing aswell. So welded up the joins on the outside of it. No help.
Then made a brace for it.
It's better, but the engine still rattles around like mad. Im going to replace the bushes in the standard steady with uprated ones and see if I can get it to stay still and get the exhaust stay on a bit better.
Will do more tomorrow.

Took the exhaust off and welded mounts to the tailpipe to hold it on the car better and modified the clamps on the LCB to hold it on better.
No pictures of this though.
Before ride height.
Current ride height.
Taking out the excess weight has made a considerable difference. More lightweight panels next.
Just spent £60 on ebay, on it aswell.

Thanks mate, come and say hi to me if you see my car at riv run, I'll be there.
I love the cage too, and your getting given one, nice one. I was given the rear section as a present and I bought the front section second hand.
I just wish I got more student loan to buy more shiney bits. Im always trying to weigh up, food or mini bits.......... but always manage to budget for beer
