Oh good, the postman went to the neighbours over the road from me and then sodded off to the other end of the vilage. I hope to god he comes back here with a piston ring.

The naughty postman never came to my house, we always get atleast 4 or 5 letters to the house minimum, im sure he just didn't bother as he has done quite alot.

Question, how do you run 2 amps? because theres only one set of red and white RCA plugs on headunits..?

Well mines got 2 sets , and a subwoofer one aswell. So ive got one pair im not using. (YET )

Ive got an amp in my workshop which has a place in my car made ready for it.

Your not joking, I got up ealier than usual to catch the postman and then sat in my kitchen watching daytime tv for 2 hours waiting for him. Going to do the same again tomorrow, if it doesn't come tomorrow its unlikely that its going to get back on the road in time.

OK just saw the postman, I went out and said"have you got any post for me im just going out"

Handed me a bundle of packages and magazines. All for my mother!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres still a tiny chance I can get it done. If it arrives tomorrow I can build the 1380 tomorrow in the day(taking my time to do it right) Put the 1380 in the mini tomorrow night. Get it running the day after, book it in for an MOT. Thats if all goes smoothly.

Im not booking an MOT if I havnt got the piston ring.

Ok no piston ring today. Project is now over.
There is no way I can do it in time so now I can't have my car back with me in uni which is vital for me.
Just spoke to Mini_kel and it was posted on monday after I paid him on the 22nd. Im now in uni until easter without my car and have lost my garage space so im going to have to move my car and leave it on the road. I'm truely gutted.

Crappy. Why did he post it so late, anyway to come back on a weekend and get it finished up or find a garage closer to Uni or something?

No I have no way of moving the car, I could come home on one or 2 weekends but it's a little in practical for me. But im determined to get it sorted, so I will.
Anyway chin up and all that, Happy new year everyone. Im going to redo my speaker board today for under my back seats, as my old one was just a piece of MDF board. Im going to assume my piston ring is going to arrive tomorrow but who knows.
