if you really want to save weight cut the rear seats and companion bins out dunno how far you want to gowith the weight saving but you could drill holes out around the doors pull your dash out and just have a speedo and revlimiter attached to the dash rail but that is really hardcore stuff that the miglia and seven racers do

Do report back with how it is too use mate, because i'd love to know what it's like to use. Are you going to buy a kit or put one together yourself?
Andrew
I'll buy the ECU, but probs go raid a scrap yard for the rest of it. Maybe buy a trigger wheel as the ones from other cars take quite a bit of fabrication to fit.
The actual software is easy, just advance and retard ignition at different points and under different loads.

noticed you say it idles at about 950RPM, you're proberly better raising that a bit it can cause cam ware.... I let mine with a slightly milder cam idle at 1200RPM
It idles a bit higher once it's warmed up.

No play in any of the road wheels though. So bearings, ball joints etc all good. Lights and lamps all good.
I am now nervous about the wipers aswell as the emmisions for it.

Flew through emmisions, scraped through with the wipers (already bought new system to replace)
Advisory on an oil leak.

Check out HARBER07 on here, doing Engine steady's out of titanium.
Yeah, well i got gearbox steady, ultimate steady, and the gearbox staeady. It stil moves.
But driving it tongiht my mate said my floor was moving, so lifted up the carpet, and on acceleration and braking the floor has a bit of flex from the subframe mounts. So will re-inforce them tomorrow, which may stop the movement and the exhaust coming off.
Also the fan belt snapped in the afternoon. Which was annoying, but fixed it in about 5 minutes.
SOoooooo 2 breakdowns in the day it passed it's MOT.
Oh and the brakes have gone all spongy coming into a hairpin at around 60, good job i've invested in my suspension and it took me round.
So tomorrow, I have got my work cut out.

Run what in?
Engine's been in the car for 5 months, and done around 3500 miles since its new crank.
I dont know how I wrote that at 11:30 last night, I was druuuuuuuuuuuuunk
I did more than put the exhaust back on yesterday, I cut my lambda boss out of my old Y-piece and welded it into the new y-piece I put on the car before christmas.
Although once I wired the gauge back in it didn't work, shorting the gauge showed it working so I think I need a new lambda probe, maybe try cleaning mine first.
Stupid fan belt.
I forgot how much I love driving this car, I also forgot how tempramental it is.
