Today I've been in the garage all day. I didn't take any pictures as I was too dirty to play with my phone.

Fitted my new £16 radius arm.
This took hours, mainly because I kept doing it wrong and having to start again. But I was also battling with a few years of mud and grime covering the rear subframe, it's a good job when I put it together, thatI put copper grease on things though.

Re-did the front balljoints.

I lapped them in this time so hopefully they may last a bit longer.

I also now have a fully adjustable, poly bushed front suspension :)

Although I got bored of being cold, and came in.

So tomorrow I will be bleeding the brakes and adjusting all the suspension.

Sounds like you got a fair bit still done though mate. You should have done less mini-bonnet-sledging and more work, then you would have got it all done :).

Thanks for the comments guys.

WHich one Sean? Theres a few, im going to turbo the 1380 aswell by the way and just run a little bit of boost. Bottom end isn't built for big power.

Im watching a few on ebay, I think im going to buy all the little bit's first and then buy the turbo last as that's the biggest and most expensive part.

I need

Fuel pressure regulator
turbo
actuator
exhaust manifold
intercooler
plenum
exhaust down pipe
and a return fuel line
and a carb, although I might try convert a hif44 i've got in the garage.

All I've got so far is the SPI fuel tank.

And a few bit's of 1275 I was going to build into a new engine, but that idea is out now.

I don't get much loan, and to be fair I do spend most of it on food.

ANything I have spare goes on my mini.

Recently made a mini spares order for a few bits and bobs, and just lost out on ebay by £1 for a turbo setup. Bit gutted, but will keep bidding.

Car is driving fine, I need to dial in a bit more castor as the wheels isn't returning as it should. MOT and insurance soon though, hopefully I'll still be able to eat.

Went out yesterday and it won't start.

Took a plug out and I've got a spark. Took a fuel pipe off and I've got fuel pumping, but the thing won't start.

Can't be arsed to play with the carb so im going to ring the RAC :)

Didn't bother ringing the RAC as they take too long usualy. So dismantled the carb and cleaned it up a bit, refitted it and it started eventualy and now running fine. So no worries.

My minispares order arrived, got a couple of bit's but nothing too fun. Just a couple of things to refresh a couple of bit's.

Just had to renew the insurance, which cost alot more than expected. Will also be another £150 on the insurance for boosting it, so will need to be saving up for it a bit more.

Ben
