You do right keeping the white arches mate. Looks a lot nicer than the black arch photoshop. Nice one on getting the electrics sorted aswell. Took your time though :).

Well I checked everythign and decided it was the alternator, got a new alternator and still had a problem, so I assumed the common fault was the wiring!!!

Nope

Do you still have those fog lights in that photoshop picture? Or are they the ones that got smashed? Was just thinking they would look cool with the backs painted white if you were ever going to put them back on.

Sounds like a plan, I got a new set after those got smashed but didn't keep them on, I might paint them and put them back on!

Would look sick!

Mini's with thin/shallow spots look great. Not keen on Cibie's, too big IMO, but Wipac's etc. look great.

A set of 4 will being going on mine when the priorities are out of the way with white covers too maybe - go with my white mirrors, stripes and roof :)

Fitted my aches, fitted wheels. Went for a drive too check for any scrubbing issues.
All great, on the lane coming into the vilage, drove over a rock and managed too rip off and destroy my new exhaust that I fitted the toher week.

Merry christmas

Managed to bodge and bend it back onto the car, even if there is a big kink in it halfway down, creating quite alot of flow restrictions.

Got the car back on the ground with the exhaust all nicely sealed.

Then took the front arches back off and started painting.

Second coat.

So tomorrow will refit those. Maybe adjust the ride height a bit, and then it's just a case of fiddling and touching it up.

Finally getting back on track :) :D

The MOT is soon so will have a good check over everything, I think it's pretty good though.

I do know that the nearside radius arm is a bit worn though. Will have to sort that at some time in the next couple of weeks.

I've been planning on it, but the weather man, reliable as ever keeps saying its going to be freezing. I don't want to create a load of ice on my street.
