Ah man, I'm gutted for ya. Does the engine turn over freely?




Not at all, doesnt move, even when being towed by the van, lifting up the clutch it made a weird noise and still wouldnt spin.



I think im going too give up on it. Save up for a hatchback.


Don't do that man. Keep it until the en gine is done. Did you torque the box up right? Could the diff have gone if it was pulling to one side?

All torqued right. Don't think the diff has gone, i was in 3rd, not flooring, jus cuising at 40.



It only lasted 6 miles.

Hmmm...not sure what it could be. Got to be something post-box if it's pulling to one side.

Yes, but the engine won't turn over. CLutch dissengaged, neutral.

Nice one!! I admire your ability to do these jobs so easily. I would do anything to be able to pull my engine and rebuild it as quickly as you did.. or at all!

It's very good at locking the flywheel when torquing up the crank bolts.



I just wish i hadn't taken the engine out now.

Cars running agian, so now im happy, been working on getting it back too its former glory so been working on the bonnet and its now got some high build promer drying on it. May back the mini into the garage and take off the rear arches for spraying, although the screws are rusted :)

Again, another easy fix lol. Could have caused some serious damage that thing. So is it running pretty sweet now then?
