Using a new timing cover, started modifying it and accidently grinded through so welded up.
Also new timing plate, cleaned up a little.
Engine fully rebuilt and gearbox being prepped for mating.

Damaged gears from when clutch went.
What a mess, and welded up engine steady bracket.
Fitted up.

I had a new fuel pump spacer, but had too file it out too fit, as you can see the current one is held together with wire, although it didn't leak, I thought may aswell do it properly.
Done
and fitted
Drill and tapped the rocker box for an extra breather
Under the sticker, this is the finish of the rocker box.
Got out the wet and dry, went 120, 400, 800, 1200
Then started polishing.
after 2nd attempt with the polish
after a couple more
Finished
Fitted, I think it makes all the difference too the engine.

My new track wheels, and my new SPI tank for the turbo conversion.
Bracket for acewell sensor
Lined up with magnet
Just clears the wheel.
As the car stands
Engine going together
Bummed flywheel, thought I had a spare, only had a bos of parts.
New piece set me back £20!!
Much better condition
Engine all built and ready to be bolted in.
Some 10cm JBL speakers too go in the dash too replace the vents which dont fit with the cage.
Still need to be screwed in. But has transformed the sound in the car. Realy realy inpressed with them, and they were FREE
Engine back in tomorrow and go for a spin hopefully
