Seats, dash, engine, suspension, wheels/tyres, arches, respray, misc interior mods (these include door cards, door handles etc) air filter, exhaust, trim,

fully comp, the only way too get an idea is too get a quote yourself, everyone's details are different.

I think standard it was about £550, not sure.

Engine is out, crank bolt had come loose, has ruined the washer. Thankfully the crank is sound. Will fit a new washer tomorrow, and a couple new gaskets and then the engine will be back in. Eaaaaaasy.

It is easy! Mini's are made of lego! Does help that I've pulled engines out of this car around a dozen times now.

I put in a standard clutch, done around 2000 miles on it and doesn't bite as hard as it used too.

So once it's given up I'll drop in a better one. Although Ive got another standard one here and that doesn't cost anyting. Will porbably just use that one when it goes. Doesn't take long too change anyway.

2 of the arches are sprayed, but kinda pre occupied with the engine at the moment. Hopfully I won't be putting oil in it every 2 days and should keep a decent level. Wish I'd bought a better torque wrench and been able too fit my centre oil pickup. Maybe the next time the box is off.

I won a fireglass bonnet on ebay and some dzus fastners so that will have the car looking something like it did before the bonnet incident.

Then just respray the front end as it's looking battered.

Ordered new disks/pads this morning too be picked up this afternoon, but they messed up and now I've got too pick them up tomorrow morning. I've stripped all the brakes off now, and got some n/s brake calipers to refurbish.

Also I swapped my bucket (chav) seats for some recaro seats, I got £20 my way aswell :D :) :) :P :D :D

So started making up some subframes for those. And just about got the drivers seat fitted. So will finish off the brakes tomorrow, maybe fit the passenger seat, and go for a spin!!!

Im also going to help my mate fix his mini, he needs too refurb his brakes and fit a new gearbox.

they're all wrong then.

think about it, air will rise. so when fluid comes into the caliper in the middle, the fluid will drop to the bottom, then rise up from there, leaving any trapped air at the top. Bleed nipples should go at the top.

Woop I was right :D

Ben, How do you find it runs with the ride height so low? Do you ever have issues with the tyres scrubbing on the arches over bumps?
