Arch re-fitted and washed.
Junk removed.
Random picture of my new club sticker.
Metty fan.
And how I left it, you can see how much oil it drops. I try to park in the same place to minimse the amount of oil I distribute around.
Tomorrow I think im going to tidy up the interior wiring, hoover the inside and maybe fit a new disk to the nearside as the threads are a little bummed in it. I may go to my local rallying place and buy an oil cooler to run some coolant through to help keep it cool. It's not far off at the moment so a little cooler I think may sort it.

Did around 11.5 seconds, sorry about the glitchy video, youtube messes up my videos it's perfect on my computer.
I had a roofrack on, a boot full of tools, and my jack etc etc around 15 litres of water in the car, and it wasn't quite up too temp but I don't think it made much difference.
I still want more though, it's still not quick enough.
Oh and before I get a telling off, this was done on a private road at my friends farm.
Posted this in the Links section, thought I'd put it here aswell.

Andrew
SPI 1275
Cooper cam
Ported MG metro big valve leaded head
HIF44 carb
ram-air air filter
lcb manifold
twin box maniflow exhaust 1.75 inch
Minispares alloy water heated inlet
998 gearbox
3.44:1 diff
The car was tuned for high octane fuel, but I had cheap tesco rubbish in it.
I also have a 1.75 inch carb on it, and a 1.5 inch spacer going onto my manifold, this will need to be taken out to 1.75 inch to gain a few more ponies.
Im going to try again, now ive cleared out all the junk, I will give it a bit of a timing tune, as it's a little advanced for cheap fuel, and see if I can't knock it down.
I want to get too 10 seconds with this engine.

Got mine for free with a bigger toolbox. Handy little thing that. Fits perfectly under the rear seats aswell.
Random picture from last night, when I went to go buy a sandwhich, yes I am that lazy.
Anyway today I did more on the mini, I went to the rally place but couldn't afford an oil cooler so I bought some bonnet pins instead, then a sheet of alluminium from a metal merchants. Some nuts and bolts aaaaaannnd now I have a removable bonnet! Took ages and Im a bit gutted that I put a 3 or 4 inch scratch on the bonnet but its so much easier working on the mini now. I had planned on being able to put the car back to standard If I needed but I had too drill out the hinge brackets for it too fit properly, the hinges are still there though.
Ben
SEEEEEEEE^^^^^ bonnet pins.
