Give it to malcolm so he can pull it to bits and abandon it somewhere. You know like he did with the last one?.

Then get an M3

Currently has the e16se Nova GTE engine.

The z18xe is the Corsa SRI 1.8 I think. I have two engines ready to drop in. One out of a Vectra 1.8 and one from a Bertone astra coupe.

I'll be doing the switch when i get back from Newquay with it.

Standard size front.

Been buying / deciding on stuff..

Clubman front will go on to accommodate proper sized radiator, bigger engine, and turbo.

Got a exhaust flange on order to make a log manifold for the td04L with a certain north Wales tall fella.

Photobucket has ruined this thread

Then get an M3

Ok, now what?

Anyway....

Been a little distracted from the mini recently with Binis, MX5s and now an M3.

The turbo I bought for this car made its way onto an MX5, which blew up twice, however, the turbo, interooler, wideband, boost controller can all be transferred onto the mini.

All I'll need to do it make a manifold and downpipe for it. And get hold of some sort of management. I may bolt it all onto the e16se or drag one of Z18xe engines into the front. Not sure yet, probably the e16se to start with.

Have you waited a few seconds after the Photobucket notice for the pictures to load?

I have now, have they always loaded after a short while since their new policies?

Rolled the mini out, no pictures. Still off the road but loaded it onto a trailer to take to my local track for a  trackday.

Quick video, but had a few issues:

Brakes were sticking.

It was sliding all over the place. (fun but not fast)

Engine over heating.

And then around lunch time the clutch failed. I actually carried on for around 10 minutes without a clutch, the lightened flywheel makes it surprisingly easy. It was getting air in the system. Not sure if it was the slave or master, but I'll change both. The clutch master is 32 years old!!
