1380 went, spent 8 hours in the car, did 430 miles and now am very happy with what I've bought.

Vaux but small block or big block?

Small but a few plans to get a bit more oomph out of it.



Cleaned the frame.



Box of other parts, gear linkage, engine mounts, need a clean and paint.


Took some bits off.



Took a big bit off.



Took this out, and stripped it down.



Some holes



Ready for allspeed frame to be fitted

Yeah mate, its a bit of a state at the moment, glad i've got rid of the a-series now.

Wish I had got the turbo motor going, but I think it would have gone wrong too easily. Where as a vaux engine will go on forever
Can't wait to start showing up some people on my next track day.

Your gunna have to change the title of your thread mate not a 1380 anymore.

What timescale you setting yourself for it to be on the track?

I have no idea, I'd like to get it done for riv run! if not that it'll be MITP.

If not that, I want to do at least 1 trackday this year!

Ha ha those deadlines range from 2 months too the end of the year.

Nothing is set in stone, at the moment.

Naaa, don't need pedal box, and will be converting whatever gearbox i get to hydraulic.
