However the vvc engine conversion came up cheap so I snapped it up, however it is not what I wanted for the car, so I'm considering selling it on to fund what I actually want.
The car is not in my home garage and at a relatives house, which means that I can't work late on it, so only get a couple of hours in after work before packing up on weekdays. Im also starting to get frustrated with my tools. I don't tend to buy cheap ones, but they seem to be letting me down.
Possible new colour?
It's not neat, but once dressed, no one will know.
My welder keeps overheating, so im going to knock up some sort of cooling for it, as it's doing my head in and my welds get progressively worse as it gets hotter.

MGF, I've got tonnes of parts here but im new to all this modern stuff, so don't know where to start at the moment.
mgf is 135bhp the higher output is found in the mgzr 160, and a few others im not sure of, still a good engine though. funnily enough i bought myself one last week for when i get another mini.

Aswell as the TF having the 118, 135 and 160 engines.
I've got the larger throttle body. But i don't know what else. I need to take a few bits off and inspect it too see what i've got.

Tubbed
worst fitting patch ever made tacked in.
Welded, I have on more patch to do on the R/O/S arch and a little tidy up on the passenger tub, and then i can start making it faster, yaaaaaaaay no more grinding

I'm still plugging away at it, the VVC engine is on eBay to try and raise funds for other parts, and as above the 1380 is for sale too.
Not alot of progress but the shell is slowly coming together, I need to add some small braces to the beam and the backend welding is done and I can turn it around and start work on the front end.
I've got loads of pictures, but not much of progress, the back end it pretty much all welded up, just loads of weld dressing and a couple of little welds to join up to finish.

I got the 1380 running today and got it sold, so ripped that out tonight and it should be collected on Saturday.
Then I'll get on with stripping everything out and finish working on the shell, new a-panels and front end and then get to building a monster!!
Should be around 240 bhp per ton.
