1380
73.5mm powermax pistons (9cc dish)
turbo crank
centre main strap
28cc head
metro turbo turbo setup
rs turbo intercooler
megajolt ignition
S/C drops
x-pin
3.1:1 diff
kent 266 cam
custom exhaust
generic dump valve
9.1:1 compression ratio

That's about it for the engine for now.
Nothing too special to start off with, but I will definitely be doing something more impressive in the future.

But that's pretty much ready to go, it's the shell and fittings that need to be brought upto spec. And ALOT of weight removed from it.
I've got the new arches for the new profile of the rear already.
However I need to buy some new tools to finish it how I want.

This is how they came out. A bit rough.

Each hole took a few minutes to sort out with a file. And there's 29 :(

Took around 3 - 4 hours with measuring, drilling and finishing.

All that effort for a grand total of:

Hopefully however the rear valance will offer reduced wind resistance.

That's roughly 0.05% of the kerb weight of the car removed today.

Yes....I could. But I won't.

Some holes, repairs, and some welding that was re-done.

Posted Image

New piece.

Was welded in, but I didn't take a pic. You can see where there have been repairs, (kinda) the area just turned to dust.

Posted Image

1 less hole.

Cheers.......me too.

Im going to try get the majority of the shell done by christmas, and the car running well enough for riv run on the 1380 turbo.

Then get some proper power in it for the summer next year.

Oh yeah, forgot. Picked these up this morning..........bye bye subframe. (weight)

Posted Image

Going to have to make sure my welding is up to scratch, I don't know if they are lowered ones or not, so will have to finish welding up the arches, see how the car sits, and then probably cut it all up again and raise the shock mounts. Well, im going to re-work them anyway.

Headlining out.

Posted Image

Few less holes

Posted Image

Took bits off this.

Posted Image

Subframe fell in half.

Posted Image

Started to seam weld it, but ran out of wire.

More wire/gas I'll finish my arches, then finish beam, the get the car back on the wheels to see the ride height, and to turn the car around.

Bought a bottle of gas, and wire and used the gas already. Not buying any more now and will get my proper bottle filled up.

Seam welded alot of the beam. Still needs more work though.
