More ponderings, looking in miniworld, huddersfield mini spares say that for wheels like urs mods are required? urs r 12 x6 right?
Also, does this mean that to fit these arches u need to cut away front wings? and is this true of using 13 inch wheels? or am i getting all confused with sportspack arches.

Hope u r able to answer my questions.

Cheers

Sam

Are the rockers on your engine pressed not cast?
They look like pressed if so they are a bad idea.

It's Honda Vivid blue pearl, it's seen alot on Honda Jazz' and some civic's. Oh and it was done in my shed by a friend of my fathers mate.

Yes I believe that the sportspack wheels need body mods although im not 100% sure on this. My wheels needed body mods yes, I had to cut away quite alot of bodywork on the front wings, although it doesn't help with my car being as low as it is.

My arch extensions will fit standard profile wheel arches and with a bit of jiggery pokery will fit the re profiled wings for bigger wheels.

Im not sure, I asked about them before and I think people may have said they were pressed yes.

Why is it such a bad idea, I was told they were fine. Although im saving up for some 1.5 ratio ones.

Bored now, as Ive got nothing to do to the Mini.

Random picture

My enamel sticker arrived for my gear knob, but it was the wrong size so I stuck it on my bootlid. Almost certain it's for one of those winged badges.

And now onto my latest project. My PCD on the back of my clocks is seriously damaged, so only the temp/fuel lit up.
So I bought 10 hyper bright blue LED's and after a spending spree in maplins I got all the bits I needed to solder them all together.

Just ome of the 10 LED's all solderd up, with resistor.

Drilled some holes in the back of clocks after taking my dash out, and super glued in the LED's.

And started soldering, (badly I might add)

Also re mounted the little blue LED's in my aux dials.

And refitted dash. Wired them into the sidelight circuit and vwalla!.

As you can see the AUX gauges didn't work, I ripped the dash back out and all seemed fine, tried reversing the polarity of them and still didn't work.
But they did work which was weird. They were a cheap ripspeed 3 led splotlight thing torn apart for the LED's though, cost £3 i think, so not that bothered. Ill give them the same treatment as the main gauges eventualy though. And then put a dimmer switch on them all like on modern cars.

Also now going to go overborad on neon's/ LED's for Mini shows etc. Loved a mini at MITP 2008 that was lit up like an xmas tree.

Ive got 16 more LED spotlights like udner my dash/ seats. There going in parcel shelf/ speaker board.
1 Red LED strip which is going on my crossmember.
1 Blue 10cm LED strip for the centre console.
And 3 White 10cm strips which will probably go under the bonnet, or in the wheel arches, May have 4 but I think 1 its damaged.

I already have a 30cm LED bar in my boot.

Then the big challenge will be to get all of these to turn on with one of the buttons on my alarm fob.
Should be a clever little addition.

Its 60mm diameter, I think that's a little too big for that gear nob. I think it may also be an alloy wheel centre. I can't remember which brand though. I don't think it was a halfords or ripspeed brand as I got it from a mini shop on ebay.
