Ha ha yes I have, been driving my golf mainly at the moment.

Drove the mini to Wales. As I've moved to Bristol and there is nowhere to park it.


So It's had a wash + polish ready for the TMF stand at Gaydon.

Drove to gaydon and back no worries, well apart from on of my exhaust mounts cracking and a small fire. No worries though, just taped up a loose wire and the exhaust just sat on the other mounts, not really any issues at all.

I got some post gaydon motivation. So went out to the shed.


Dug out a 1275 and started to mock up.



Oil cooler on, oil feed on, oil return on (no pic, and it's the nicest bit)



Intercooler pipework needs a lot of work.



Although with some bends and a bit of stainless it should work out ok.

Feed, just touched the manifold, so might have to shave that a little.

Oh, that's a new (to me) turbo downpipe as well, with a lambda boss in it. So I can link it up to my maniflow, until I work out something new.

I might run the fuel system in the mini this week, and then order the intercooler pipes on payday and make up what's left to fit it all.

This went into a garage for storage a month or so ago. No idea when it's next going to get any attention.

Pretty much.

This isn't going to be just a quick freshen up. Lot's and lots of work planned, hopefully done by riv run 2012.
