Where does that go? :)

it bolts to the bellhousing and the head bolt. then ur standard engine steady from the bulkhead bolts to this. i had it fitted because the thred had stripped in the head where the standard engine steady bolted. all i had to do was bolt the coil to the 2 clutch housing bolt holes.

Theres nothing wrong with the standard steady that bolts to the block.

keep up the good work.

You having the oil drain going to where the fuel pump was? If you get stuck with finding one, buy a fuel pump blanking plate, drill a big hole in it and weld a pipe into it and you can angle it about to help etc

I'm considering it, im just a little concerned that welding it will warp it and not seal, but i'm not sure.

I'm just being lazy, smiffys bits do a stainless one, im just waiting for them to relist it, as they are on holiday at the moment I think.

id have thought you may warp it if you do a constant weld, therefore you should be ok if you only do a little bit at a time, like a bit one side, then a bit the other side.

To be fair that steady bracket will help as the loading is spread over several bolts, and not just relying on the one to hold it.

And good man for planning to blow it up... lmfao! :)

Bare sick

Well it's not broken yet.......

I'll be taking that solid steady out soon and fitting it to the gearbox. As the vibration it transfers into the cabin is mental.

I've also set a date for the completion of the turbo conversion : )
