Any updates to put in your build diary, you've been a bit quiet of recent?

Pretty much had a year off due to work, was a bit of a manic one which meant I didn't have anytime to work on the car. It has had some attention recently and I've got a deadline in my mind so watch this space...... well, my thread, not yours.
You got any other shows or events planned this year? Really hoping to get to a few myself (either with or without the car) and would be nice to see it again.

Claudio - That sucks, you cant have had it back on the road very long. At least mine snapped just up the road and I have my own trailer to pull the thing around in...
Zcars can get you "Unbreakable" driveshafts, at a cost and with an unbreakable guarantee. I think it was probably a bad batch of metal at the time that we bought our kits. If yours snapped right in the middle similar to mine then thats bad metal as, reportedly, driveshafts normally snap near the machining work. They most probably get them from here: http://www.berrisford.co.uk/ but I couldnt get on their site due to their server being down. Thinking whislt typing if this is your second shaft to snap is this the same side that has snapped twice or have both sides now snapped? Mine was the offside shaft.
Word from the now wise if you get a replacement ensure you get a circlip for the outer end of the driveshaft as this will most probably get snapped when you remove the outer CV because you have to smack it off, Z's stock them and they are literally a few pence. They are a ford fitting but without a part number you've got sh:t all chance of getting anything from a Ford dealer without a reg for the right Ford car of the right year, the guy I spoke to at Grantham Ford (closest Ford garage at the time of me fixing the driveshaft) was possibly the most unhelpful person I've ever had the misfortune to speak to.
Keep me updated on the outcome.

have been reading others who have built there cars. I have done a lot to mine and going to do more. I
wish I was able to get parts as quick as you guys in the UK. I'm in the USA. My car has been down for over a week due to rear hub bearing. Don't stock that size here.Suppose to be here Monday. Your driving has also improved. Keep up the great work!!

Hello Andy
I see Captain Kirk has been active on the engine building sites of late which I follow closely myself.
Are there more quest for power to come in the up coming posts? EWP, revised intake filter options....
Your regular post are dearly missed.
