OK, after 24hours of uploading and then another few hours of clipping & processing I now have one of the sessions from the weekend sorted.

As you can see from the rev counter and even from the noise of the charger, there is still a lot more to be had from the car, I still need to grow bigger kahunas, that said on a track day like that its difficult to know what everyone else's skill level is so I found myself backing off quite a fair amount and only overtaking where it was safe to do so.

All comments on the spin welcome.......

ENJOY:

Great :)

I've got a couple of photos pf you going round the track if you want them? We need a bigger lense really, not enough zoom.

I think we need to motivate Dad to get the van ready for next year ;)

Hiya Mike, yer instead of letting the fireworks of into the air on Bonfire night maybe save them to stick up your dads ar5e, that might get him moving on the project.

Re the photos I would love to get them from you, I am still on the same email, if you haven't got it anymore PM me and I'll give it to you again.

Good to see you guys last weekend, did you see any roll cages that were any good?

Hello :)

ahahahahaahahahahahaha good idea ;)

I uploaded the pics onto photobucket the other day, ill send you a link. Our internet is sooooo extremely slow today otherwise i would email them to you.

Was goo to see you to, and the car ;) No roll cages, there was a weld in 6 point one, with fixed door bars in the auto jumble. But what we really want is a 6 point saftey devices bolt in cage, with removable door bars. If none come up forsale on ebay etc when the car is nearly finished might just have to buy one new.

:)

Here's the a video from my first run at the Miniworld Action Day 2012, I get three good laps in before I get black flagged, I have timed the laps and put the times in the video. Looking at the footage there's a lot more to be had from the wee Beasty, mind you as it's only my third ever track day I didnt think I did too bad......enjoy and sorry about the sound, going to ask Santa for a Go-Pro for Xmas.....

I just checked the lap recorded lap times of Castle Combe and my time is pathetic, considering the power to weight of the car I should be more like 1:15 - 1:20 (my best so far is 1:31), man I need to get some track driving lessons.........

Don't feel bad, been there-done that myself. It takes time and it's much safer to work your way up slowly.

Thanks Birdman, I hear what your saying. The weathers going to take a turn for the worst over here now so I wont be anywhere near a track til next spring. I will try and get something in place at the beginning of the year to up my skill level.....

Just incase you didn't know, the GoPro is quite poor with regards to its sound quality and mic. If it is outside then all you will hear is wind noise and if it is inside the car
it's still not that great. Your best bet would be to get a skeleton case and an external mic (the fluffy ones are great to stop wind noise). Honeslty it will make a huge difference O_O

Awesome car by the way, it looks insane. Need to get my ar5e into gear and finish mine :shifty:

Thanks Paul.

I just had a quick look on tinternet and I see what you mean, the skeleton case and mic is actually for the Go-Pro. I might see if Santa will bring me although I doubt it...
