Also, all auto chokes on the maestro/montego are HIF44's, which would be too big for a 998...
Unfortunately, I think she's going to have to learn to put the choke in.... how about something simple like an egg timer which goes off after 5 minutes ??? as a reminder

Well i'm sure i've heard of a HIF44 with a water operated choke? Somebody will have seen them...
Yer ur right, ive seen one aswell, there was someone a while ago on here asking about how to connect it

Even if she just pulls it all the way out and leaves it there until the the temp needle is in the middle of the gauge then puts it back in? Its not that difficult?
Or is the problem that she pulls it out but then forgets to put it back in once the engine has warmed up?
