I have had my engine tuned and been for a dyno run.
Heres the dyno sheet.

188.6 bhp at the wheels 208.7bhp at the flywheel.
Allan

What did you do with the engine/tuning?

It was an old friend of mine who has retired.

Hi Allan,

How are you getting on with noise at your events. Is it quiet enough to pass scrutineering??

Just at exhaust stage now and unsure what to do!

cheers,
Les.

My car has passed all nose tests no problem so far.
It will probablty be a we bit noisier this year with the new can but I dont see it being a problem.

allan like the look of the brakes and can
the photos only from one side i presume you have two calipers and discs?
id run something like that on my car but she is at minimum weight for the class already 500 kilos
it wont matter for sprints and hillclimbs i assume

No weight limits for me :) it will be around 455kg - 460kg now
I only have the one disc as we only do one mile at a time I am confident it wont overheat and it does have enough braking force.
Time will tell.

So you use a single disc with a 6pot caliper? What is the diameter of this disc? We are gonna try to build a single seat rwd racer <400kg on a Ultralite Monte Carlo body. This would be a great idea to keep the weight down and the unsprung weight of the suspension.

The rear disk is 220mm a bit small maybe but I had it laying about,
The caliper is an ISR 6pot I robbed from one of my race bikes.
