anyone ride fixed gear?


Wouldn't be without my fixed gear for around the city. I have two at the moment, one sits around, and one gets hammered. 2 years heavy use so far with next to no maintenance ;D

I have a road bike and want to go out for a ride now the clocks have changed, I am really out of shape, and totally unfit, I have mo motivation but i need my ass kicking to get out on my bike, any takers, want to train up a fat bloke? :withstupid:

Nice! Campy parts, San Marco saddle by the looks of it.

Look like Campy pedals too. You'll need to change those to flat pedals, clips and straps, or buy clipless shoes.

Yeah sure, wear trainers with those pedals, but it'll be uncomfortable and not very efficient. Those pedals are designed to be worn with clipless shoes, if they are indeed campy pedals they will look something like this:

Not the ideal platform for a standard trainer.

They could also be similar to this:

If you're not that bothered about wasting half a rotation then just sell those and get a set of something like this:
