Cheers again for the advice lads , can't thank yous enough for it.

I think i'll invest in a track pump but only when i can afford one. I've got a compressor at home but don't know what pressure it will go to like (never tried it on a road bike tyre). I do have the adaptor for it though so i can use that for now.

But i will definately need a frame fit pump. Just because i need to be able to blow a tyre up if it bursts however many miles away from home.

Cheers again for the advice gents! >_<

been spending today. :(

i decided that i wasn't happy giving up my mid week rides so I've been down the bike shop and kitted myself out with a set of lights and some reflective body strap thingies so i can go out in the evenings ;)

also want to get a second rear light and one of those lights you wear on your head

i also bought a shorter stem whilst i was there as i'm sure my riding position is too streched.

one thing i did spot at the bike shop, lights that fit onto your tyre valves :) i thought these would work well, the two circles of light providing a good image of a bike, but they only had them for car type valves.

anyone know of any alternatives ?????

No problem, it's amazing what you can do with a fistful of change's worth of electronics from Maplins. I remember 3 years ago I made an "under car neon set" for my remote control car to the tune of about £2!

its so cool to have the light move in the direction you look, its going to be so useful for so many things. everyone should have one.

don't know why but this has really tickled me. gonna wear it all the time >_<

They are great :)

I got a little fishing one with a band like that, i use that when i'm out washing the bike or something, just gives you a nice bit of light. I use a Niterider Minewt light for using on my helmet though, i wear that offroad or onroad. Not majorly bright i have a seperate light for that, but like you said its nice to get a beam where your head is.

A 'Walther' bike, handbuild in the late 70s early 80s (I'm not sure - maybe someone can tell from the parts?).
There was only a very limited series of them made.

Except of LED rear light it's in 100% original condition. Real oldtimer now
I had some seriously high offers for it - didn't tell them I have a women-bike in the shed as well (even rarer, only 4-5 ever build)

But didn't drive it for years now... :(
Maybe I'm starting again this summer.

Cheers,
Jan

Good to see people are still riding.

Glad to see you've invested in some Endura gear, damn good stuff! As previously mentioned...

I think they should offer me a job, i seem to tell everyone i know about them... Something like

"Oh my god, did you see Skins last night?"

"Yea, the Endura base layers fit me real well thanks"

Haha

yes, I've had Endura clothing in the past, and it lasted a long time. :shifty:

they seem to be the perfect fit and although they look rather restrictive they are actually very soft and comfortable.

they had very good reviews on the chain reaction site and they were a bargain price. we shall see how well they work when i can get out again :genius:
