Safety glass my f***ing a**e. I have loads of small cuts and scraps now after spending a day stripping my Vectra after the accident.

why did you strip it? Did you have aftermarket stuff on it?

I did the maths and worked out that I will be just as bad off breaking it and selling it off in spares than if I had claimed for it but at least this way I don't loose 8 years NCB. I also get a donor Z19DTH engine that I can fit into another Vectra, Astra, Saab, Fiat or Alfa if I want. There are plenty of them knocking around with blown engines and that is the one bit of mine that is still in good order.
