Hi all, can anyone give me any help on mini thermostats I am just stuck on how to fit a new one or if I buy the part how much would it cost to fit in labour??? Thanks, Sam

    A very simple job if you've got the time and inclination. A few bolts, change the gasket and thermostat. Put the housing back on, tighten up the bolts. Bob's your unc.

    Just be careful undoing the studs for the housing. Very easily snapped as they corrode and don't like to be moved.

    Make sure that the surfaces are scrupulously clean as well. This will ensure a tight and consistent seal between the mating surfaces.
