I know the feeling. Well at least it is never straightforward. I always think cool it will be nice when I renew this / that and then there is always some kind of compromise, or something doesn't seem quite right with it and you don't get that nice feeling you were aiming for!

I was the same when changing rear sub frame . i did not give up , now its worked out o.k
