Community Status Updates

Started Mini up for the first time in 3 weeks, and seem to be getting fuel out of the carb overflow. What could cause that?

It's like a stop *******. There are 3 screws on top of the float chamber. Have a Google and check it out. You sometimes just get grit in the valve and it doesn't shut off the fuel supply so it just overflows.

I had a look 10 mins after turning the car off, and everything on the carb seemed bone dry. Could it have just been some condensation that I seen dripping from it?
