+1 with Matt. Have both and the bini is a good car but the mini is a proper car.... It's the smile factor

Neither has keeping to left hand lanes when slower than other traffic - constantly come up behind slow cars and vans in a right hand lane then other drivers undertake to pass

Very important on a long road trip to be honest :)Unless you forget to put the aerial up and drive half way to Santa Pod, mostly in silence. :(

Yeah, I actually think about what I will do with mine if I moved to a different country. I think I would take the little guy with me. I agree though, a limited edition mini deserves to be preserved and it can get expensive if it is your daily. Though a lot of people do use minis as daily drivers with limited problems.

She's got her cover which goes on everynight & is quite sheltered on the drive but would be nice to have a "jump in and go" car for the school/work runs everyday. She's had a few hiccups this year but nothing major touch wood, got some paintwork bubbling up so think get her in a new home to get sorted restored properly then have a mini as a 2nd car that I can mess about with how I want. So much character in a mini we all get attached!

That's not too bad, I bet the bubbling paint can be touched up quite easily. Also it is possible to do small mods and keep all the original bits so that it can be easily brought back to original condition.
