Not the brook. Working outside on the ground in the pouring rain is no fun. Especially when were you need to lay is right on a drain

Typical, i have packed up for the day and it's dried up now. All day i have been poxing about with tarpaulins trying to keep the worst of the weather off me. I have had to change clothes 3 times too.
Oh well, the worst is over and tomorrow is going to be nice!

The garage is called chl, http://www.chlltd.co.uk/ looks like they have a website that has their contact details on. The main guy there is called Ian. Top bloke and is honest, if he says something needs doing its because it needs doing so yeah worth a try I guess :)

Not bad... Mine starts on hopes and prayers, and the occasional 'FFS start' for moral support. :) It really needs a new battery.

haha mine doesn't normally start at all so i was shocked. Even on the way to Bingley it wouldn't start and Zara and Matt had to help haha.

Mine is supposedly 130 factory. But not sure on that now. I'll get it mapped and do a few little mods bit I bought it as a work car :)

I've known a few people with these card now and all of them have had more power than they expected. As i said earlier even tuning companies have found them to be more powerful than the quoted figures. My lad had his detuned back to standard when he bought it and that was the figure he got. No matter what they are a quick car and 170 brake and over 300 lbs ft if torque make these cars fly. The DMF though needs to be in good order.

just went out for the first proper drive after 3 yr resto, got 2 random waves and a flash of the lights.doesnt happen in the daily :-)

Vinay-RS
any risk of the paint getting damaged when the car gets warm?
Feb 25 2015 06:45 PM -
stevearch0
It's only the paint on the engine and manifold.it's high temp paint so it needs time to burn the smell away, then it will be fine

Now I've got Parisian Walkways going round in my head! I shll check out Peter Green. In fact, I think I've got some splinter group stuff somewhere. On ancient vinyl. I went to see Bonnie Raitt a few years back and was pretty blown away by her. Didn't realise she was such a good blues/slide guitarist.

Ah, no offence to poor old Peter, but Splinter Group isn't a patch on the old PG fleetwood mac stuff. Peter suffered a mental breakdown after some heavy LSD action in the early 70's. He was never the same since that and although Splinter Group was a very noble venture, I would say it was more of a rehab exercise than anything. He really wasn't up to much in terms of his playing. I'm not too familiar with Bonnie, I'll check her out. Love findng new music!

Me too. I've just discovered Robert Randolph and the Family Band. Sort of blues/funk - but he plays the steel guitar and I've never seen anyone outside of C&W play it. Pretty good :-) I shall leave my LSD induced muzak in the suitcase in the garage for now then.
