First time our in the Mini in six weeks and only second time all winter. Its difficult trying to remember which noises are harmless and which are ones that I need to worry about.

Soon the Metro will have a roof over it's head, getting rid of a project car really does feel like a dead weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.

Ah, nice words. Not to be taken the wrong way, but my brother passed away this week and strange as it may sound, I find some comfort in those words.
Cheers mate :)

It was actually "Mr" Spock. Dr Spock was a real person - an American paediatrician and author :)

Pretty sure I've blown a piston ring, luckily it made to my grandparents house so it's staying there until Monday, when my RAC cover starts.
