Have spent the afternoon going back and forth trying to make sunday dinner and fitting a wing to my mini. It's gone well apart from my mini now tastes of stuffing.

Just fitted cruise control to the vRS, feeling lazy but it makes motorway driving so much easier

-
Domneon
The car needs telling that it's fitted via vag com
Mar 14 2015 04:45 PM -
Steve220
So you just need to calibrate and then activate? It took me 3 goes to get it right on my audi. VAGCOM isn't really that user friendly :(
Mar 14 2015 04:50 PM -
Domneon
I had to enable it and enter a code and then start the car, then knock it off

I'm doing an MSc in BIM (3D construction) plus working full time and running around after my 1yr old. Suffice to say my GT isn't getting much love at the moment.

£400-£500 per year for me. The e46 330d would cost me around £1400 per year to insure. What a joke! :(

Wonderful, planned a trip out in the Mini today only to find the neighbour has tree cutters around blocking my access

-
cal844
Id be telling them to clear the mess!
Mar 14 2015 10:31 AM -
Steve220
They aren't legally allowed to block you in due to fire and medic access in an emergency.
Mar 14 2015 12:52 PM -

They've only blocked my garage at the back of the house, the front is clear.

Does anyone else have something REALLY against automatics? Or is it just me? Even our Peugeout with it's 'Porsche' gearbox feels, although nice, smooth and very good, a bit like the driver isn't really driving. Anyone else feel like that?

-
90BHP
If you're doing 25000 miles a year with work. Getting stuck in traffic and crawling along motorways - boring (sorry 9 speed auto) is good.

I can understand that. I would probably consider it if i was in that position but for now, i like the feel of a manual more
Mar 14 2015 09:35 AM -

I have no choice with my next car as they're all autos, however as I'm now doing more long distance and town driving its damn useful to have!

Anyone know the thread size of the captive nut in the twin bolt front subframe tower? Need to order a tap to clean the powdercoat out!
