Typical, I’ve just turned down a job offer for a job that would have been too impractical to get to, with over and hour each way on top of a 9 and half hour day, 5 to 6 days a week. Only to find them advertising the same job just 5 miles from home, when I only asked yesterday if they had anything closer and told there wasn’t.

It's the same manger I'd had the interview with Thursday who denied there being anything closer, only to advertise less than 12 hours later, as the hour and a half each way in mostly slow going traffic and over 200 miles a week for just under min wage didn't seam worth it.

jut tried applying for it and funny enough it's not showing on there website and just wants me to filling in the same form I did Thursday. maybe they are advertising a job that doesn't exist, like so many of them do.

How serious is a crack in a cylinder head? As I’ve recently had to drill out and helicoil the threads for the thermostat housing. Given the mini a good run out of about 34 miles today and have now noticed the thread closest the radiator/fan has a crack in the head, that’s weeping a tiny drop of coolant. Will it be fine or is there some sort of sealing goo I could use on the stud?

Stitching does looks like an option. It depends on the value of the head though as it could outweigh the cost of the head.

it's only a standard (unleaded) 998 head, but other than the crack its perfectly servable.
