hi i starrted a project a couple of months ago. its goin to be a lightweight car with some extra beans.

as you can see its abit close with the new lowerd shocks so iv cut the lip of the arch away

got the head and inlet manifold back the head has been gasflowed, ported, polished, bigger rimflow valves, new seats that have been taken back, double valve springs.
the inlet iv had ploished and matched to the head.

got my new cage from saftey devices and started to test fit it.

iv cut away the front end ready for the new fiberglass one

started to fit arches

stripped the inside inc seats pockets and sound proofing

its exam time now so it will be a week or two before i can get back to work on her.

yea its planned to be a track car that i can run on the road.

ill just take it to any track days i can get to. I dont mind travlling for abit of track fun!!! I also live nr loton park hill climb so i will prob be there lots.

Looks really good. Like the debumpered look and mk1 back lights - would like to do that with mine. Work starts after the bloody exams!!! good luck wiv ur project it looks good!

i know arnt exams the most anoying thing in the world. i just want to be working on her.

Couldent be aresed with revising anymore an spent 2 days on the underside cleaning all the old waxoil off an grinding off the brake line and fule line tabs thats a few more grams gone!! getting it ready for some fresh stone chip.

I also have been thinking colours. i want somthing abit diffrent and i know every mini is diffrent but you know what i mean.
I was thinking blue with orange detailing (see pictures) as in orange subframe, arms etc and mabye orange arches. Any suggestions?


Will post some more pics up later. felt bad about not revising an im back on it!!

whitch is the best flywheel and clutch to use for a 1340?

she is finally back from the body shop and now she looks amazing. i also have parts back from the powder coaters all i need to do now is find the nuts and bolts!!
