frame as i arrived on tuesday morning engine fitted and running

the car has not been painted is as it came out the mould in gel coat

Thats going to be far too small for larger people like Stig and Chris, you need a smaller framed person like myself to really take advantage of the lower COG and weight!
fuuny as is a perfect fit for chris
being skinny is no substiute for experance even with the extra weight

im well chuffed with how its all gone together and in particular with how both halves of the body just slot together we literally started at 10 10 am and by dinner time both halves had been aligned and drilled to themselves and the frame
the top comes off with thirty 6 mm nuts and bolts and during the build we put it on and off a dozen times to check and fettle various things it was a pleasure to do and i reckon you could lift the top half off in 10 miniutes if youi wanted to change an engine for example
i will weigh it when i get back from a show in sweden but im going to need a load of ballast to meet the minimum weight limit for the series
good thing with that is ive got two big races in sweden later this year so i can ditch the ballast for those might even try a diet???

490kg with a gallon of fuel on board
thats 60kg light than last years steel bodied car which had alloy doors ,fibreglass bonnet and boot and perspex windows
