Hi,
This blog will hopefully show the successful strip-down and rebuild of my Mini Pickup, named Jack.
I bought him last year, where he was propping up a collapsing shed.

I have been working on him since January, and I think it's fair to say that he's rather rusty!

Plans include a full body resto, with new floor pans in both the cab & load bay, load bay arches, closing panels, valance, inner & outer A panels, new rear wings, front wings, inner wings and fairy wings (ok, I made that last bit up) new front end and doors, bonnet and tailgate (phew!)

Then I get to start on the mechanical side of things! :P Final spec is yet to be decided on - will update as and when I know!

Follow my progress here

You got a some work to do there, but will be worth it in the end, when theres another mini pickup saved.

Brave man well done and good luck

hi had a van with same type of rust and rot problems, new floor, loading bay, inner wings ect, lots of work but when it's all welded in, it worth all that hard work. keep the good work up.
