Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I'm replacing some (possibly all) of the standard brackets which attach the brake and fuel lines as well as the battery posotive lead on the underside of the floor with p-clips.

Does anyone know what size clips I need for each of these?

You can use 8mm for brake and fuel lines then 10mm for the battery cable.

Excellent! I'll get some ordered.

Cheers!

How are you planning on attaching the p-clips? Have you gone for some elaborate bolt through type affair, or just screwing them in with self tappers?

Hoping to do this myself, but can't decide what to do.

Personally i drilled some 3/16th holes inserted some screws and welded them in place.

I thought that too Tom, I actually ordered 5mm ones for the brake lines and 8mm for fuel lines.

Sonikk, why do you do this to me man?! That looks much better than my rivet in place scenario is going to >_<.

Might stick to my guns on this one though just because riveting will be quicker and easier. Plus as mine are going to be on the under side still, those threads will get exposed to the elements, which wouldn't be good.

The thing with rivets though you may be opening a can of worms as unless you use steel rivets then you will get dissimilar metal corrosion.

You can chop the threaded bit down and then a touch of sealant on the exposed end will make it all nice and water tight.

I'd completely forgot you'd done that, Sonikk. I think that's the neatest solution, so it's off to the hardware store for me. Cheers very much.

Rather than welding you could just push the bolt in through from the underside, then tighten a locknut on it to clamp the floor inbetween, then just bolt on top. If you used half nuts they would be shallow too. I was intending on using riv-nuts but I know they would corrode...
