Dont you love the smell of filler and kurust in the morning? Found some small holes in seals so sorting that aswell now!

Today i was a very busy bee! Decided to hammerite rear valence, both side sills and front valence. Had an adhesive numberplate laying around (as you do) which is a temporary addition till the paint hardens in a couple of days. Also repsrayed parcel shelf which was grey to black, been bugging me for an age! Put some pics up of my interior as it is now complete! . Really happy with how the hammerite came out, looks very smart and will help keep most of the rust at bay . Opinions welcome as always!

As above. I would rather have a car that is rusty as hell and goes like **** off a shovel than the opposite.
Unless its a Mk 1

But it all helps with the image

Hello there people . Been really busy with my college project and other shennanigans! Looking to make a start again on the engine VERY soon. Had to borrow the sump nut though as the thread in my 1275 lump decided to fall out!! Lots of swearing got it done intime for the show though . Looking at the possibility of a rebore and turbo now, but then again i change my mind everyday so dont get too excited.

AND
I borrowed my dads spangly camera to get some great pics over the london to brighton weekend, she has changed quite alot over the last month!!!

Refurbished Weller wheels sitting on new falcons
VW black magic mettalic bonnet and wheels and mk2 grille
And spent hours cutting the paint back!
Next on will be the chrome aston cap, clear indicators, new black roof trim, sticky plate and group2 arches with black rubbertrim

Thanks , yep, looking at a t2 setup, then i can plonk it in a shell when i can afford one and drive into a tree really fast haha.
Also completely cleared the garage out, and much too my dads dissapointment I can easily fit one on there now, he has no excusesses! mwahahahaha

Sweet jesus its been a while! Cracking on with the engine over the next few weeks as broken up for the summer now. Finally got my wheel arches, indicators e.c.t all changed over and is looking sweeet. My dad doesnt want me to turbo the engine (spoil sport) so looking to do the bmw 16v head conversion as my dad had owned a couple of old bmw bikes and has some parts laying about....
