The reason for the thread, is because my old one got filled with spam, partly my fault i will admit

but, if you want to read it, and catch up on what you have missed here it is
PROJECT BEER.. part one
Right...
where to start
if you havnt read the old one ^^^ this is the basics
1977 Austin Mini 1000, BOG standard, red.. bought back on the 7-3-09 for the very reasonably sum of £700
(pictures are on the other thread)
since buying him, there has been a fair bit of work done...
including:
new wheels (weller 10x5)
arches
new steering wheel
new exhaust system LCB to a RC40
new carb, HiF 44 with a K n N air filter
new HT leads
new coil
new vacume pipe
new grill
de-bumpered
spot lights
modified bonnet, hole cut in the front near the radiator and raised about an inch at the back
front reg put on the bonnet
intior changed.. black buckets, not mine though, they have been given back
radio removed
heater matrix removed
dash simplified (more)
quick shift fitted (brocken though)
brakes redone (several times)
Hi Lo`s fitted
new shocks
compitition cones fitted
new front lights
i think that is everything.. there is a very good chance i have forgotten stuff
so, as many of you know, my car is now off the road (1-09-09)
this thread may be slow, not sure yet, depends how quickly i work on him, with out me having a job, i surpose it might be quick, i do have a few things i can be doing..
new engine, im going to strip it, port polish, rebalance, good old fashioned tuning. Also, going to be fitting a new head, 12g295, if i can find one cheap enough.
When i buy a bonnet, im going to be builing a flip front.
i will keep you all as up to date as possible, including pictures..
and with any luck, this one wont end up full of spam!!! lol

thanks for the support
