Stupot the preventor i use is Vactan, from perfomance chemicals here is a quick refrence

Got some time in the workshops in april wooo anyone got any ridged bucket seat mounts to swap with my ones on runners? the need to bolt into the base of the seat

got a few more parts for my projects, dampers, hi lows, rear brakes, seats, wheel arches, lights lots woooo :(

also set up new compressor :D

found the last supprise from the old owners!!! they had de bumpered the front and filler smoothed as i want to put her back to her former glory i ground back the filler to find........ the reminants of the bumper strip hidden they didnt even bother drilling the spot welds off!!! will put some photos up!

removed it cleaned up and new heratige strip fitted :D

big day today its the first time the shell has supported itself since ive beeten the rot worms, so it was off the spit and on to some trestles i need to pre fit everything for roll cage reinforcements, front subframe reinforcements, seat and harness locations. With lots to do i cracked on and managed to get the roll cage assembled and a seat in, finally feels like some progress :D

Footplates for the cage are all welded in plus the front subframe reinforcements fitted and reinforced seat mountings and harness mounts fitted :)
managed to fit my dash up and sort all mountings etc very happy :)

Wow this looks great!

That rust treatment stuff you've been using looks to do a really good job!

I can't understand why they fillered over the bumper mounting flange, surely that is more work then drilling out the spot welds? Haha.

does anyone know if there is a rear anti roll bar that can be taken fron another donor vehicle thats on the road? like the metros?

I looked into a anti roll bar from another car but found nothing in the right size. Found one that was the right shapen but needed shortening and didnt want to mess with the bar.
