So, no doubt, most of you have read my rant about how diserpointed i was at minispares the other day.
Link: http://www.theminifo...howtopic=129751

I must admit, ive had to do more work then i expected, although i've enjoyed it

Ive now got them on, and i thought i should share the results with you.
Would be so kind as to give me your opinions. Now that they are on, and my rally numbers have been removed.

Finally, thanks to everyone who helped me, no matter how small.

If you are looking for rally/retro stickers try here

The Mini looks sweet mate to be fair. One thing though, personally I would remove the Kenwood stickers from the doors. Looks out-of-place on the car.

... Cheers for the link.

I only just added the Kenwood, when i removed the rally numbers

I was going to put a 'Yokohama' and the 'Relentless' sign. Next to it. Both just in plain white?

Group 2 arches are the stuff - they look pukka.

Well played for persevering with a low quality product and achieving a good result.

With hindsight would you do the same again or would you spend the money and go for the 'real deal'
more expensive arches ?

The guards look good. The front right may need a flatten out with the sandpaper where they connect to the bodywork, it looks slightly wavy, or is it just the photo?

I am not a fan of any of the stickers - kenwood on sides, minispares on bonnet, or John Cooper on the roof, I dont think they enhance the car (the bonnet stripes and side emblems and stripes do. But... as others say... what you like is the go - it is your car.

PS - names on the car.... the back side windows are the place for the flag and name, or small names on the front door for older style.

Sometimes... to many 'add-ons' detract from the style, take it easy.

Well, ive enjoyed doing them, i jsut feel that £50 didn't really justify it to how it came originally.

In Hindsight, im pleased with them, i enjoyed doing it. So no, im happy with it all.

So thats +3 for removing them :dontgetit:

You mean like how i used to have them. :D

When the weekend Finnaly gets here. I'll remove; The Rally names above window, and put small ones on each wing (under the chrome emblems) and Remove the John Cooper name son the roof ;)

PS: In the past, ive had quite alot of critisism on how my mini looked (which i dont mind), but finnaly, im getting positive comments. Just want to say thank you, it gives me a warm feeling
and its not that i need a wee either

Im looking for small rally names, to go on my wing (as said above). And have started looking on eBay. But cant find any small ones. (under something like 40mm tall). Can you help please

My tuppence worth would be:

Get ALL the stickers off and let it just say "Here's a Good looking Mini".

Less is more...

*edit* Or go the whole hog with the full rally look - covered in numbers, stickers and advertising.
But I think you've got a great looking car there that needs no embellishments.

Best wishes
Monty
