really do like the fwd kits as the car does retain the back half but having said that i drive my car a lot, probably 800kms a month, and I am sure that reverse will come in handy.

is there any progress on the pro motive kit with regards to reverse
also does anyone have any more pics of the Lynx AE kit and prices.

thanx

I think we should get to flog the next person who asks about a reverse option!! Its been glanced over a couple of times in this topic, might want to have a skim through! :dozing:

I think youll find he actually asked had there been any progress, as I seem to recall there was mention of them seeing if it was viable to include a reverse option.
Thus he clearly had read the thread extremely thoroughly, more thoroughly than you read his post it would appear :dozing:

Hey fellas

Pugnacious bunch aint ya!

I did read every post on this topic and did laugh at many of the posts. Thanks Marky Tizz.
I was also reading through the pro-motive website and it says they are working on an option for reverse, so I just thought I would ask here, seeing as you guys love talking about reverse.

Seriously though, I have emailed Lynx as well, but haven't heard anything back yet.

I want more power from my mini, its the only reason I bought it to be honest and that was to put a bike engine in it, that and the fact it was cheap and in good condition.

What would you all personally go for, a v-tech FWD or a bike engine FWD ? I like the bike engine for the fact that it revs to over 10,000rpm and the shift pattern, also can adapt a push button shift. But having said that, it will obviously be easier to get a v-tech registered here in Sydney as it is a car motor and doesn't use a chain.... hhmmmm

I go for a Vtec because the bike engines lack torque and a reverse!

Differcult to tell, but I think the diff is the lobro type which is usually LSD, so traction should be okay

Cheers
