well had an exciting trip in america, came back and had an exiting trip to the IMM well good show!

bought mostly for the mk2, however saw a new colum cowel for the bean, as his broke when i crashed and my knee shattered it... lol



also got a new Y piece as my exhaust is blowing and mine is a bit bent so i suspect it....


also, when i was in america i saw a new Cd player, i checked uk prices and it was like £30 cheaper so i bought it, has ipod connectgion and a remote!

ill get pics of that up soon!

the stripe is on both sides yeah... it was from the day i did it....

yep, pre '74 i think that cowel, or 73... then it changes to twin stalk....

ran out of petrol yesterday.... my sender is broke... got my mate to bring some petrol, he started and then died, float chambers all gunged up.... cleaning them today....

well... some berk crashed into me...

i was driving behind, he indicated right, pulled behing some parked cars, as i came past he pulled out without indicating and obv without looking, and hit my rear quarter...

im worried the subframe has been affected, a friend who is a mechanic says it looks out of line... so now im worried that he is gonna be written off... the guy has offered me cash... he was in a courtesy car, "the same thing happened to me" he said... yeah right...

so im thinking if i can find a good cheap shell and rear subby, ill re shell the bean...

it is worse than the pictures make out... doesnt really show the dent....
