The old Ford Orion seats are now out of my pickup and look pretty grotty, and I want new ones. But what kind? Recaros look nice (in fact Baker Boy's mini interior, below left, is a bit like mine. See the interiors thread.)



1) Because it's a pickup the seat backs sit tight against the rear bulkhead.
2) I have to be able to get at the battery on the floor behind the driver's seat, and there is storage space on the floor behind the passenger seat, so the backs of both seats must tilt forward. A bit of forward adjustment is useful for this too.
3) I've seen a pickup with two crossmembers so that the seats can dispense with a frame and the slide rails sit level. Seems a bit OTT though.
4) If I have buckets (or something like them) with harnesses, the anchorage points should be easy.

So I'm a bit random ATM. Any ideas, please?
