a 13 row for both would be fine...the location is always important - some prefer to mount just behind the grille while others prefer it just behind the nuber plate, or even up close to the bonnet with drilled vents...

Are you planning on modifying the engine? I'd leave it if its just a standard 1275, waste of money.

The money would be better spent on a braided oil line between the filter and the block.

Apparently it is much better than the standard solid pipe.

Why? Heat dissipation?

The inner diameter of the standard pipe is very small and causes an obstruction to oil flow. if I remember the Keith Calver article correctly.

IMHO:-

If you have an oil temp gauge, fit the sump guard and monitor the oil temperature after fitting, no point paying for an oil cooler if it aint needed.

If you don't have an oil temp. gauge, ignore me! ;D

i read in minimag an article saying if the engine oil dont reach the correct temp it will do more harm than good to the innards of an engine.
