Do I need the ASC 3 CARD WITH AS003 LEADS?
Or the STC 6 CARD WITH SSA004 LEADS?
Or something completely different?
Any opinion on what used ones should go for?
Thanks,
Paul

Once this is figured out be sure to add it to the pinned topic at the top of the board. I cannot even find an area on the manufacturer's web page that lists this information. Maybe I am looking at the wrong Crypton?
All I can find is the high end stuff:

Someone else is looking also:
Ebay request

My ACT has the following modules and cables
ACT1 main module
Rover MEMS ASC3 card
Cable assembly ASA003
Covers everything I need and has real time data and can reset ECU...Tune stepper and idle air.... In fact everything I need to keep my SPi in good nick ECU wise.... the mechanical stuff is up to me and my grazed knuckles....lol
It does all my SPi and will do MPi as well. I have 9 modules covering all cars around that era and all the assosiated cables. Anyone in the NorthEast is welcome to come and plug their car in and have faults codes read and cleared.... Goo to keep Minis going.

DaveRob, that sounds perfect. I have a full kit of the Crypton ACT1 coming to me hopefully today. Where do I plug it into the Mini?
Any tips for a very green apprentice?

Well, that was a silly question. Where to plug it in was pretty damned obvious after I got the kit!

Does the ASC3 card need to be v1.0 to work in the ACT1 as my ASC3 v2.0 doesn't seem to be working in my ACT1
Thanks in advance
