Hi mate. I have recently come into ownership of 454 KPO! Would you still be interested in owning her again?

Regards

Dan

Its possible, especially if its kept where it is in the ebay links its been placed under a tree outside for ten years? My car was off road but garaged since 2002 until I bought it in 2011 and had no drivers floor pan, no boot floor, inner wings had rotted, and there were holes in each corner of the roof, its possible in that time depending on where it was stored and how it was used beforehand...

Fair point, and if it was damp inside etc, still a sad way to see it, must be restored :)

I very much doubt there the same car, for one, the 1 on ebay is badged as an austin, the 1 on the video is badged as a morris, in 10 years theres no way it would deteriorate to that state!

I currently done have any papwerwork for the vehicles but this can easily be obtained from the DVLA.

It looks like a case of the log book shuffle.

Still on DVLA computer record:

The vehicle details for 454 KPO are:
(Morris)
Date of Liability 28 09 1987
Date of First Registration 16 07 1963
Year of Manufacture Not Available
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1071cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour RED

The vehicle details for 261 PTA are:
(Austin)
Date of Liability 01 08 1988
Date of First Registration 15 05 1963
Year of Manufacture Not Available
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1275cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour RED

If they still have chassis numbers, registration numbers a V5 can be applied for or re-instated on the DVLA computer......old pre-1983 tax discs, MOT's are also a help. I have successfully obtained new paperwork for a few old 'barn find' Mini's before. Fill in form V765 and then get a recognised Mini Club like the MCR to confirm all history and details are in order.
