Furthermore yesterday still what small jobs done. The sea-maximum kit had at the rear wheel castes still what is adapted because there a piece floor has been obtained gone. Also to the front what updated. There came what rusts almost by the lake gone on the passage of they baffle to that piece beside the door. (Barns and prepare for stop-roest and plamuur.) Oja! I am there also in successful get the surly grip loose. Was I already a couple turns to started and was in fact frightened that the previous owner these had sealed ofzo. Muurvast! Maargoed, the surly grip zat a beetje rusted and with what "convincing" slaps with the hammer came ie nevertheless loose. Mini is now official hélémaal empty....!!! What also interressant are, and also very it is important, is that I have found a possible welder for lasdingetjes which be done must to the mini. Hopelijk coming we, but there have I trust in! All in all.... It goes simply all by!

Some pics of the work in progress: The old engine bay is coming together nice.....
I've also took the front hubs apart for cleaning and painting. Hope I can finish that this week and then it'll be waiting for the 4 pot calipers and vented discs to make the car stop.....

otherwise you wont get the front subframe in and your nice new laid down shocks
i onoly say this as it looks like you are painting the front end and its a shame to spoil it now

Thanks for the tip.
I can solve this easely. I'll just cut the sides away and surprize the cut with a bit of paint.
Hope you like the project by the way..... Still making repairs on the body, afther that it should go faster again.

It's not going to stay purple. We've got a few colours but haven't decided for sure.
Chris, 2 quick questions, What diameter pipes did you used for clutch and fuel lines? And which fuel pump? The origional from the type R?

Put the steeringkolom and the wipermotor in base too so they an be sprayed in colour soon and finished the second box at the banana. Has to be grinded and sprayed with zink before welding. After that it will be sprayed in black (whole inner car will be in black)
