Clutch Cover - Engine Mount Thread/bolts

Best Answer nicklouse , 12 June 2019 - 09:06 AM

the wok to transfer case are 5/16 UNC

the marking lines don't indicate High tensile bolts just the grade. which in this case is a grade 5 which is a "high" tensile strength bolt. (8.8 metric equivalent).

Hi, could somebody please confirm that the engine mount bolt holes on the bottom of the clutch cover are 5/16" UNC please ? Got one bolt here and it has three lines going out from the centre to the outside, from memory this means high tensile ? Is that correct ?
