Hi everyone,

I am at the point where I am about to spray my mini almond green. I have bought BLVC1212, like the mini below, as I prefer it to GN37.

The only thing is, in the tin my paint seems very dark. I have been to another paint shop and asked for a paint sample of the same code, and it has come out the same. I am not sure what to do, as it looks like it will be completely the wrong colour (see the picture of the tin lid below).

For those who have sprayed almond green before, did you have any problems with it looking dark? Does anyone have a pic of their almond green paint tin with the lid off?

Thanks,

Chris

It nay be deceptive in the tin. It may well be ok when on a panel.

Why don't you spray a not too large panel such as the bonnet or boot lid, and see how it turns out? That way, you don't have too much tedious rework if it does not turn out to be correct.
